You libs crack me up. Half of the people in the US are suffering the health consequences of obesity, and with global warming/climate change, you would think believers would applaud the price of gas. Get out of your cars, walk, and eat basic foodstuffs. Sheesh.

I love radishes and noticed the almost a dollar per bunch price increase earlier this week. At first I thought that the bunch was more because it was bigger. But, no, it actually seemed to contain fewer radishes than in the past. I suspect that there is something going on here beyond mere "dollar buys less" inflation. Stores like H.E.B have spent huge sums trying to get consumers to buy pre-washed/prepared produce in the clear plastic boxes. Their sales unit of choice. These are no bargain for the consumer from either a cost or quality standpoint. At the same time I saw the radishes I also noticed that other bulk produce items had increased in price by an absurd amount. The most insane thing I were the avocados: Buying five from the bulk bin was cheaper than the same number of bagged avocados. BTW, I skipped on the radishes.
